Historia y derechos humanos: reducciones y dogmatismos: History and human rigths reductions and dogmatisms

Abstract

Los derechos humanos son, sin lugar a duda, uno de los componentes más poderosos de las luchas modernas por un mundo mejor. Si bien existen algunos problemas en su forma actual, resulta claro que ellos son incómodos para el poder. El presente artículo busca realizar una visión crítica sobre ellos, que rompa con el dogmatismo de las teorías tradicionales. Para ello, problematiza dos reducciones comunes generadas desde la teoría tradicional: la reducción liberal y colonial, para la construcción de una visión dogmática y parcial de su existencia

Human rights are one of the most powerful possibilities on the struggles for a better world in modernity. Even if it is possible to see some problems in their actual form, it is clear that they are challenging to power structures. On this paper, the author breaks with the traditional perspectives and their dogmas, and presents two reduction strategies that allows an incomplete understanding of rights: the liberal and colonial reductions on the historical dimension.
