Resumen

Los tres volúmenes de la “Enciclopedia del Estado y el Derecho” fue publicada entre 1925 y 1927 por la Academia Comunista. La dirección editorial estuvo a cargo de Stucka. La Enciclopedia representa el primer intento sistemático de los juristas marxistas de profundizar en una perspectiva crítica entorno a todos los conceptos fundamentales de Derecho y Política. La lista de autores incluidos en la Enciclopedia de una panorámica general de los principales juristas marxistas que vivían en la URSS. Stucka era la figura dominante de la escuela de juristas marxistas críticos de lo jurídico y su contribución fue fundamental para la teoría jurídica. Por su parte, Pashukanis apoyó como editor de la Enciclopedia con un artículo sobre el “Derecho Internacional”, y de manera ocasional, contribuía con distintos temas de orden más teóricos y abstractos.

Abstract

The three-volume Encyclopaedia of State and Law was published between 1925 and 1927 by the Communist Academy. Under the general editorship of Stuchka, the Encyclopaedia represented the first systematic attempt by the Marxist jurists to extend their critical perspective to all of the major concepts of law and politics. The list of authors of this impressive work included nearly all of the principal Marxist jurists then in the USSR. Stuchka, still the dominant figure in the Marxist school of juridic criticism, contributed most of the sections on the theory of law. Pashukanis himself served the Encyclopaedia as editor and main author for international law, and in addition he was occasionally assigned topics of a more abstract nature.
